Interstate 395 or I -395 is an Interstate Highway in the U.S. state of Maine. The highway branches off Interstate 95 in the mid-state town of Bangor and is five miles long.

I-395 is a spur of Interstate 95, but unlike other spurs of I-95 in Maine, I-395 has an even greater number of connections. The highway begins at an interchange with I-95 west of Bangor and then forms the southern bypass of Bangor and Brewer, with a bridge over the Penobscot River. I-395 has 2×2 lanes and ends east of Brewer at US 1 Alternate.
I-395 was constructed in two phases. The section west of the Penobscot River is the oldest and is believed to have been constructed in the 1960s/1970s. The bridge over the Penobscot River and the rest of I-395 was built in the mid-1980s.

I-395 was built with the idea of eventually extending the highway to State Route 9, a distance of approximately 8 kilometers, or even all the way to Calais on the border with Canada. This route is more than 120 kilometers long. Studies were conducted in 2008 on a route of I-395 between US 1 Alternate and State Route 9. An extension to Calais seems unrealistic.
Every day, 33,000 vehicles drive at the interchange with I-95, with 32,000 vehicles crossing the bridge over the Penobscot River and 15,000 vehicles as far as US 1 Alternate.
