According to wholevehicles, Zimbabwe is a landlocked country in southern Africa with an area of 390,757 km2 and a population of approximately 14. 6 million people. It is bordered by South Africa to the south, Botswana to the southwest, Zambia to the northwest, Mozambique to the east and Namibia to the west. It has a tropical climate with hot summers and mild winters. The highest point in Zimbabwe is Mount Nyangani which stands at 2,592 meters above sea level. Zimbabwe also boasts an extensive river system including the Limpopo River which flows through the country from north to south. Higher education in Zimbabwe is provided by universities and higher education institutions offering courses from undergraduate to doctoral levels. The oldest university in the country is University of Zimbabwe which was established in 1952 as an independent institution offering higher education to citizens of the country and those from other countries who wish to pursue studies related to Zimbabwean culture, history and literature. Other public universities include National University of Science and Technology; Bindura University; Great Zimbabwe University among others.
