Popular excursion destinations near Marbella are the historic village of Ronda (with the impressive Punte Nuevo bridge over the gorge), the British territory of Gibraltar with its monkey rock and the cities of Seville and Grenada, which are around three hours away by car.
Climate in Marbella (Costa del Sol)
The Costa del Sol of Andalusia is a sun-drenched region with little rainfall and a subtropical Mediterranean climate. This also applies to Marbella, which offers an ideal mix of dry, sunny summer months and pleasantly mild winter months.
