Geographical location
According to COUNTRYAAH, the parliamentary Federal Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina is located in south-east Europe and, with its capital Sarajevo, lies on the Balkan Peninsula and is bordered in the north and west by Croatia, in the east by Serbia and in the south by Montenegro, with the largest proportion being the border with Croatia not applicable.

Climate in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Located in the transition area from the Mediterranean to the continental climate, the winters can be very cold and dry, and the lowest temperatures are sometimes in the double-digit range. Sights and attractions
The landmarks of the country include two bridges that are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Mostar Bridge, the Stari most and the Višegrad Bridge, the Stari most u Višegradu. Another attraction for nature enthusiasts is the Buna spring, which is considered to be one of the largest and most powerful springs in Europe, as well as Jajce an area with a castle, a 17-meter high waterfall and the Pliva lakes. If you are a real fan of wonderful, unspoilt nature, you should not miss the Sutjeska National Park. Part of this park is one of the last two European virgin forests. You can also discover the highest point in the country, the Maglić mountain, the Skakavac waterfall with an altitude of 75 meters and the Sutjeska gorge.
